I would love to see an independant, thriving Palestine. I am disappointed in the Palestinian people, when I see them fighting and killing each other. It is not my intention to embarrass you, but, La La Land will never exist in the Middle East between the Jews and those of the Muslim faith be they Arab or Persian. A good historical reference for your question is the Old Testament in the Bible. The interests of the US in supporting the right of Israel to have its' own state emanate from the Jewish population in the US. Also, most American lawmakers have been Christians and thus, the Bible has a great deal to do with their philosophy in regard to the conflict in the Middle East. Seems that there are two problems. First there's the lack of unity in Palestine and then there's the Arab thirst for the destruction of Israel. Now if someone was openly intent on destroying you, would you be willing to give them more land?

So it looks like the only way to solve the problem is to destroy Israel and for the entire world to become Sunni Muslim and make all women subservient to men per Shariah Law and subject to stoning.
