In funimation many people give voice to cartoons so how do they change their voices from their own voice?

I wanted to know that how to change my voice if i also want to work in funimation company to give my voice to Japanese cartoons but the thing is i don't know how to change my voice, someone told me to take singing lessons to learn how to change my voice but will it really work, i mean we sing with our own voice right? and how to do voice effects, i know the daily life sound effects like coughing, or when running, or shocking voices. In funimation many people give voice to cartoons so how do they change their voices from their own voice?
they undergo voice acting lesson.... either you can change the pitch of your voice or not, you will have to undergo tru it...

but in some cases, there really are people who are talented and just can copy the voices, i remember in my high school a classmate of mine was speaking in donald duck's voice *lol* he's really good, he really imitated it, since donald is one of the characters i knew that is hard to copy its voice, he's really good....

i dunno if taking singing lesson will help, but taking voice acting lesson is really the thing you need if you want to become a voice actor/actress.... (even I undergo tru it, hehehe)In funimation many people give voice to cartoons so how do they change their voices from their own voice?
Part training through acting lessons, part natural talent. Often the odder voices involve using parts of your larynx, nasal passage or cheeks you don't usually use, and some people can't master using them. Singing is a good idea as diaphragm control is part of it (swimming underwater also may help).

Terry Fator is famous for his ability to do many voices - apparently he learned from books about ventriloquism from his library, which makes sense as that's the height of voice control.
