How much is it going to cost me to replace shocks on a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4?

I'm on my second engine and second transmission, but the shocks have never been changed. It feels like I'm on horseback.

I know there are many variables, and I don't expect anyone to be able to pinpoint a figure, but am I looking at $200? $500? Do I get to eat next week? How much is it going to cost me to replace shocks on a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4?
I'm not sure what the relevance is with second engine and transmission is with regards to shock absorbers?

You know when you guys ask for prices on repairs and parts, you are asking a relative question!

Labor cost differ from shop to shop and town to town and state to state!

Then there are parts prices which fall into the same differences plus the different Tax rates!

Come on! If you did a little home work you should never have to ask for any prices on this site!

Your investigative skills are horrible.

Now I know why you wont use any diagnostic, to find car problems.

Too use to these sites giving you the easy way out!
