Is it hard to change shocks on a 92-95 honda civic?

I have bought 4 new shocks and don't know how hard it is to change the shocks. Is it hard to change shocks on a 92-95 honda civic?
the hardest part is getting a spring compressor to compres the spring to keep from killing yourself. they are not shocks on the vehcile, they are struts. you must remove them as an assembly, dissamble them and reassemble them off the vehicle, then reinstall the whole unit in the vehicle. when you have the unit dissassembled check the mounts, if they look damaged in any way, replace them. when everything is back together take it to an alignment shop. front and rear camber and front caster is not adjustable on that vehicle. you may have to purchase adjustable control arms with offset ball joints to allow proper alignment. Is it hard to change shocks on a 92-95 honda civic?
AS long as you have average experience, you will be fine. But you will need a spring compressor since they use a strut setup.

This should help

first of all you will need a spring compresser, attempting this without it will be very dangerous, you can't change shocks without it do yourself a favor and go to a garageIs it hard to change shocks on a 92-95 honda civic?
In my opinion, this job should be given to a professional shop, that specializes in (or only handles) suspension maintenance and repairs. These guys do this for a living. They have the tools and expertise to do it quickly and correctly. I am a die-hard do-it-yourself %26quot;back yard mechanic%26quot;, and as much as I hate to admit it, some jobs are just too much work to be worth it! I did it once, and it was the toughest job I ever did. I would rather change a cylinder head in a Kmart parking lot. (Don't laugh, I've done it!) Again, if you want to find the best deal on labor; find a suspension shop, not just any automotive shop.
