Hood hydraulic shock change?

looking to replace the hydraulic shocks that help get the hood up and down, how hard is it? looks like an easy job. i have a 95 monte carlo LS. thx.Hood hydraulic shock change?
it really isn't that hard, because it is just hydraulic shocks; just remove the cotter pins holding the shocks to the hood/frame, and then replace the shock. If it was the old style springs, that would be a little more involved.

REMEMBER: Tie the hood open (bunjie cord, whatever) so that you can work on it without the hood coming down on your head before you get the shock replaced.Hood hydraulic shock change?
its easy but get friend to help hold hood.bad things can happen with a little wind
