my left rear shock needs to be replaced, they told me it will still work but eventually i was going to need to have it replaced and they told me its best if they replace both rears not only one. how much would they charge to replace both shocks for a 2003 g35 coupe. and is there any place cheap online i can buy them good brands etc.? also would changing coilovers instead of that shock help instead of replacing the shock. How much do they charge to change rear shocks?
search it up on ebayHow much do they charge to change rear shocks?
you should find a G35 internet bulletinboard / forum and ask there.

The car enthusiasts there will be able to give you first hand advice and show you what they have..

You should replace both, if 1 is worn out, the other side is probably well used too. There are different shock applications depending on if you wish to modify the standard setup. But you also usually get what you pay for, so if you buy cheap, then the part may wear out faster.

Coilovers will replace a shock/spring combo, however this path is typically more expensive. However it is usually cheaper then getting new shocks, then later changing your mind in the future and having to change out out springs in a 2nd job.
