How do you recover from a shock after you make a drastic change to your life?

You smoke? You stop cold turkey. You drink? You just stop doing it. You're lazy? You start working 40 hours a week...



It is just hard to cope with the pressure, the pain, withdrawal symptoms etc... And yes, it would be much easier to just go back to my usual routine. Because... doing the right thing doesn't feel as good as taking the easy way out...



I need some motivation, because I think I am in shock...How do you recover from a shock after you make a drastic change to your life?
Do you feel you made the best choice? Sometimes that can make us doubt ourselves.

Big changes can take a lot out of a person. Give yourself some time. Try to be around positive people - they will be the best support. Finding out what others have overcome can really inspire you. Religious support can bring you peace as well. If you are having a weak moment, call up someone for encouragement. Time heals all wounds - but remember you can overcome your issue. With support from the right people and influences. Maybe read some books geared towards your problem? And if you fall, don't beat yourself up. Get up and keep on walking! Take a break and go to some motivation places like visiting a tour if you go alone it matters the most as you can see the nature speaks with you and give relief to your stress
