How do I lift the back end of my 2wd 1993 GMC Jimmy? It has leaf springs on it and they go under the axl.?

The shocks mount to plates located on the bottom of the axl. I believe if I try to switch and have the springs ride on top of the axl I'll have to change that plate and shock. Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!How do I lift the back end of my 2wd 1993 GMC Jimmy? It has leaf springs on it and they go under the axl.?
How much lift do you want? a spring over will give you 4%26quot; , You could do a shackle reversal, but I don't think anyone makes a kit you would have to do it custom. This would also give you like 4 inches. You could use this in combination with lowering blocks to get less lift. The best solution would be to use new springs possibly for a 4x4 to lift. All would require custom shock mounts or new shocks. How do I lift the back end of my 2wd 1993 GMC Jimmy? It has leaf springs on it and they go under the axl.?
SuperLift is about the only thing I know of. 6%26quot; kit, put springs on top and maybe a slight body lift if still needed. How do I lift the back end of my 2wd 1993 GMC Jimmy? It has leaf springs on it and they go under the axl.?
You can either install blocks or the best way is to just have the springs re-arched.
