What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?

No %26quot;just came for the 2 points%26quot; answers, please.

Only serious advice will be appreciated.

Here goes the story.

The foreign guy impressed an Asian woman to the point she dreamed of marrying him, but he never told her he had a girlfriend in his home country. The woman knew about the girlfriend when it was %26quot;too late%26quot; (when the wedding was decided).

By then, the guy had listened from her lots of hidden sufferings she had not been able to express openly to anyone else, and in some sense helped her to overcome those feelings from the past. He did this sincerely, like a friend or an elder brother (though she was 5 years older than him).

They had had sexual relations once in a period of about one year. He never asked her to become his (second) girlfriend or a lover. He had no intention to hurt, but didn't know how to tell her about his girlfriend.

Knowing about the girlfriend, or the fiancee at that time, was a total shock. She changed her job to avoid seeing him, but when she needed someone to talk about her feelings or problems, she ended calling the guy.

For the following 5+ years, the story became quite complicated, with a lot of ups and downs. At some point of time, the guy (already married and with a child) gave her a proposal, but kind of ultimatum: Let's make a stable, peaceful relationship or let's finish all communication. She took the first alternative, and they worked in the trade-off for several months.

It did not work. The fact that this guy had married other woman was a wound too deep for her to heal. The guy told her he believed it will never work, but she was reluctant to cut all communication with him.

The guy left the country with his family, without having clearly defined the relation with the other woman. She sent him an email asking technical questions (about a laptop), and he did the support part but also tried again to define what would be the future (if any) of the relation. He was already desperate about it, and after some interchange of mails and calls he sent an email that, she said, hurt her again.

It was hard specially because she had been putting lot of efforts in %26quot;remaking her world,%26quot; adapting herself to the idea of living without having the guy close, in some sense. She had already gotten some peace of mind.

The guy felt bad for her after that, but he is already mad about the situation, contrasting with her. He thinks there is no good future for it, and he wants to end it.What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?
You are having problems with letting go because you became too emotionally dependent on him. He was your source of comfort and advice. I feel he was sincere with his concern over helping you but in the end found it too difficult to continue as you wanted more from him. He knew it was wrong to continue because he was already married. You also knew it was wrong to continue because he was married and it was difficult for you to be second choice. He was right in ending it. Now what you need to do is work on not being so dependent on him for emotional support. Find other people and resources to fill that void. For now you are hurt, but in the long run you will one day see how it is a much better thing for you to not remain involved with a man who will never be available to you. Good luck to you! What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?

I'm just going to collect my 2 points, you owe me that much for reading this mess. What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?
No matter how pretty you wrap up this story...here is the bottom line.

The woman is nothing but a sidekick, and someone he turned to when his girlfriend/fiancee wasn't available. This sidekick (woman) is a fool in love because all she is letting him do is eat his cake and still have it because when it comes to anything more than a secret relationship (which is what you two have) and occasional booty call, she is nothing but a sidekick.

The fact that he ACTUALLY married someone else instead of her, re-enforces that fact. If his wife finds out about the sidekick, two things will happen....She will beat the *** of that sidekick, then make him cut all communications with the sidekick...! And guess what? He will! What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?
The story is kind of sad...like an old movie or something. The guy in the scenario is a lowlife and the woman a weak person who couldn't see the handwriting on the wall or want to believe he was a bastard. Unfortunately these types of situations happen still and the women (or oftentimes men) who follow their heart rather than their mind often get burnt. The shame of it is our hearts are more trusting and emotional than we should allow and people can take them and crush them. This isn't to say we shouldn't all trust...we should. It's to say we should trust until we get burnt...which she felt after his announcement that she was second best. What is your opinion about this affair story (long text)?

This is a real mess, but all I can say is that, they reaped what they sowed.....and made things too complex to deal with.

She has peace of mind and he wants to end it?

That really does not make any sense, but if he wants quits, then just get it over with! What is the matter with them? Why can't they just let go? It was a bit annoying with all the explanations, but they keep going at it? Gimme a BREAK!!!

I have a question regarding Shomer Negiah...............?

I was talking to this guy (a cute Israeli) I met and he asked if I would like to come to a party and Shomer Negiah?

I stood there in a little bit of a shock; I changed the subject on to something else and left after we talked for a good half hour.

Does anyone know how to handle the whole issue of Shomer Negiah, better? I’m really not the type of girl who...........you know does that kind of thing.

If anyone has any life experience on this issue, then your help will be much obliged. Thank U!I have a question regarding Shomer Negiah...............?
Shomer Negiah refers to the laws of touching, so that in itself is a bit perplexing. Was he trying to state the party was ok because the people going are shomer negiah (meaning, that they all follow the laws in regards to this matter)?

The best policy is honesty in such situations. Just explain that you don't feel comfortable attending, but would like to set up something more casual, if you are interested in the guy.

If you aren't interested, just politely decline and state that while the offer is a thoughtful one, you don't wish to go.I have a question regarding Shomer Negiah...............?
You DO realize that Shomer Negiah concerns the laws against casual contact. Judaism has laws for tzuinut (modesty) and part of those laws forbid things like hugging and hand holding except for certain family members. In fact, I was ready to slug my cousin years ago (he's now an Orthodox Rabbi in Munich and much more informed on the laws!); he refused to hug my mother (his aunt) and myself. WE'RE family!

Check out this article: http://www.aish.com/family/momblog/Women…

I think you'll see that you may have over-reacted to what he was referring to (unless I miss my guess!)

I'll also star your question for our more Talmud-knowledgable crew.I have a question regarding Shomer Negiah...............?
%26quot;f I would like to come to a party and Shomer Negiah%26quot;

Did he mean come to a party that was going to be Shomer Negiah or that wasn't going to observe this category of laws?

It's referring to the laws of touching within Judaism.

Shulchan Aruch states that one shouldn't touch women for pleasure.

Meaning hugging, kissing, rubbing against each other, etc...

To avoid this though, males and females don't tend to interact within frum communites.

It's a whole category of laws, and has to be understood meticulously. Of course certain exceptions have to be made for men who have to interact with women for job opportunities, [shaking hands when greeting] etc....I have a question regarding Shomer Negiah...............?
Israelis as a generalization tend to be very direct. In general I would just ask. It's extremely unlikely you could offend someone by asking what they mean. Will you have a chance to see him again? Even if you were to explain why you reacted the way you did - he'd think it funny instead of offensive.

  • Desert offroading/quading?

well, im going to go to the desert in 2 weeks. im curious as to how fast i can drive my truck and quad at a safe speed without having anything get out of hand. its a 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 and im not sure as what quad im using, my friend will bring it. i did no changes to the shocks or anything like that on my truck and it has all terrain tires. so can you please help. thnx =)Desert offroading/quading?
Sounds like fun. There is no absolute answer because the terrain will very so much. Start slow and work your up on both the quad and truck.

The truck will take 30 mph fine on a nice gravel road, but you may need to keep it at 5 mph when things get rough. The old old drivers ed thing of looking farther ahead with more speed will be important to remember. If you see a very rough spot in the road, there is usually a path around the rough spot, so look for it.

With the quad only go as fast as you feel comfortable. The more you ride the faster that will be in some areas. If it feels out of control, slow it down.

Shocks replacment on 2001 suburu how hard to change?

if you have no experience dont do it, very dangerous, shocks struts i get em mixed up but if ur talking about the ones with the coil springs, i wouldnt mess with it cause ur gonna need some spring compressors and its under alot of tension, its just as dangerous as playing with a loaded gun, don't do it unless you know how to, but if you talking about the ones dat dont have the coil springs on them, its pretty easy, easiest way is to jack up the car by the frame or jacking point, and most setups are just two bolts one on the top and one on the bottom, you can mess with dat, its pretty easy.

    WOW i need UR HELP!!!?

ok so yesterday for new years i called my bf and he said %26quot;i freaking love u%26quot; quickly while being drunk and i didn't respond cause i got shocked.. we changed the topic quickly.. i want to say i love u to him now that i didn't say it back.. how can i bring it up politely in a way that im saying AFTER he said it ...ah should i just wait?WOW i need UR HELP!!!?
I would just wait and see if he says it to you while he's sober. He was drunk so he might not even remember saying it to you. You could also try asking him if he loves you and see what he says.Hope this helped.

    How to fix death wobble?

i have a 95 jeep grand cherokee and when i am doing 45 mph the whole front end shakes and i have done all the tie rodes, changed my tires, shocks and it still does it but not as badHow to fix death wobble?
This was answered before..here is the link. But in short I would recommend checking out this website http://www.kevinsoffroad.com/techarticle This guy has been wheeling grand cherokees for along time now and has a whole writeup on what the causes are and how to go about fixing them. I would also recommend checking out these two forums http://www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums/for and http://www.nagca.com/forum/

In case you don't know the 93-98 Grand Cherokee's are commonly referred to as a %26quot;ZJ%26quot; in the offroad world and both forums have specifics sections for them. The NAGCA (North American Grand Cherokee Assoc.) has some really good write-ups and fixes as well but I found Kevin's Offroad to be the most helpful when I had my DWHow to fix death wobble?
Could have warped rims or warped or damaged tire belts , or the vehicles tires need balancing and even the wrong amount of air can cause such issues. If a ball joint or bearing or drive axle was loose or going on it that could cause such issues too, plus if other parts of the suspension can cause such problems.

You need to jack it up and place it securely with wheels supported on stands and then check the wheels , try hold them at 12 and 6 o clock and then pull and push on the wheel and see if any play , if so look under the vehicle and see if you can notice anything moving when the wheel is pushed etc.Do the same thing at 9 and 3 o clock, then put it in neutral and see how smoothly the tire spins and listen look for something rubbing or grinding.

Remember bad brakes can cause wobbling issues too like warped rotors etc. Also look for parts that have a rubber boot see if the boot is worn or is ripped or is turning funny or has too much play in it's cv joint etc.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if it's the rotors etc you should feel it especially at higher speeds and when you go to brake, plus look for places that might require lubrication and for areas that oil etc might have leaked onto rubber bec oil rots out rubber can cause cracking etc too.How to fix death wobble?
Last year i lifted my 97 wrangler 4%26quot;. I got a death wobble so bad i almost rolled it going around a turn. So i went to a 4wd shop and they hooked me up with a new steering stabilizer (it looks like a shock located in front of the front axle). The bigger and heavier tires need a beefier and stronger stabilizer. Once i got this i never got a death wobble again. How to fix death wobble?
The most common cause of death wobble is a bad track bar. It is usually worn at the frame end. Sometimes even a new track bar will have enough play to allow wobble making trouble shooting a pain. Get your replacement bar form a reliable source.
